This is one I would like to get advice, opinions or remarks on: it was written for children?

Laura is a sour girl from eating green limes and lemons

Linda is a sour girl from living too long with Laura

Lilly is a happy girl, she lives alone

And eats sweet corn and melons.

Update:

ha! yes, but" living " is a metaphor as is sour, eating and limes and lemons I could change it to "playing with" and "plays alone." I love the idea of Steve...., however? This is all so leading... Thanks. I have lots to think about!

Not to take this too seriously, but Influencing children to live alone to me isn't too good, because people can't live alone in order to survive.

Linda is a sour girl from living

    Too long with Laura

Lilly is a happy girl just living

    With Steve eating ripe melons.

It sounds like the poems that were written in the 15th century... and were sometimes slightly cloaked gossip about people who were either upper society or royalty.
