jl audio 500/1 is made for that sub, or you can try a 500.1 alpine pdx amp

if those are to expensive try buying a name brand amp that does 600-700rms at 2 ohms because at 3 ohms that same amp would only put out 400-500

    hope it helps

the JL mono amps are an excellent choice. the w7 is a demanding sub it NEEDS a ton of power to perform best.. id say 500 is a minimum for power on this sub.

I'd look at the Rockford fosgate amps as they are my favorite for subs and the 3 ohms load will make it put out slightly more power safely.

a 2x200 rms at 4ohm bridged would put just the right power output and sound awesome.

the jl 500/1 would be the best fit
