Looking for an affordable ISP 5meg in Toronto/Canada?

Hi everyone,

I live in Toronto, Canada and pay too much with ROGERS internet. I looked at BELL Canada internet and found that they are no better. I am looking for some ISP with unlimited options or have a large bandwidth limit at a good price, around $40.

I just got a notice from ROGERS that prices will be changing (in corporate speak this means more money for them and less for me).

I have a PS3 and download lots as well as watch movies from my PC to my TV via the PS3. Because the PS3 goes over the internet and not over a local network I use between 100GB and 175GB per month. HELP

if anybody lives in Canada and knows a good provider for DSL please let me know.

We dropped Rogers home phone and internet for the same reasons. We now use Primus with unlimited D/L and home phone with unlimited long distance USA and Canada for about $70 plus tax so I guess just internet would be somewhere in your price range. ...BTW Primus home phone is really Bell they use the Bell lines so it's actually very good. The internet is great and have customer service in Canada so you don't have to talk to someone with a weird accent
