What's the purpose of signing the health care bill if medical expenses is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy?

The "purpose" is to facilitate another government take-over of private sector business. The fall-out will be felt for many generations if it does not get revised or over turned. My wife and I are entrepreneurs, I know we'll be letting people go because we can't afford to provide what is now mandated and would bankrupt us to do so...this will be felt all across the Country in every industry. Our own insurance premiums are as much as a mortgage already...what was necessary was capping costs to revamp the health care issues, not forced insurance with guaranteed higher premiums. This bill is madness.

Bankruptcy laws were changed under Bush amongst other social policies-- people may not qualify for bankruptcy for having expenses that are mandated.

By qualifying for a lower rate, or subsidy through the government plan--Americans can avoid penalties for not being able to afford the insurance.

Some of the preparatory work for this bill has been completed under the Bush administration--it was a bi-partisan effort.

this is component to the reason in the back of a wellbeing reform bill. To decrease scientific costs and to make coverage obtainable for each guy or woman so as that they do no longer circulate bankrupt paying out of pocket without coverage.

They whined about individuals going bankrupt because of health care bills. Now, we all get to go bankrupt as a country because of health care bills.

Exactly...I just asked what is in the bill that keeps hospitals and Dr's from charging so much, knowing the answer is ...nothing.
