Successful people are in the minority not just Democrats but for everybody.

In answer to your question I assume you are talking about how a majority of Dems are for social programs that assist the indigent and poor of our nation. These programs generally raise taxes. If that is the case and an individual has a lot of money-more than he or she needs, where is the problem in paying a little bit extra in taxes to help someone else get up on their feet?

No one gets anywhere without a little bit of help, not even Bill Gates went without certain advantages that helped him along the why. So why not help others if you are doing well yourself?

The world does not work like that.

Do you honestly believe a CEO who gets paid $1,000,000/year works 300 times as hard as someone who has three jobs and makes $3,333/year? Or, including third world countries - do you think a CEO works 300,000 times as hard as 40% of Angolans? People who have no access to clean drinking water? Who starve to death if the crops fail once?

Stupid lazy Angolans - stop dying of parasites and famine and start working your *** off like those Wall Street bankers!

So why do you blame it on Democrats? I worked my whole life alongside my husband, raised two children, sent them to college, never got welfare or food stamps, and in fact worked for Social Services. Retired, still not on anything but retirement. I would say we were rather successful for Democrats.

Successful people can't be made to feel like they "need" to be government property.
