If you live in a state sueing to reverse the health care bill....?

Are you happy that millions of your tax dollars are being spent this way to have the courts and judges make these decisions rather than our elected officials? And if you are, what happened to you disdain of activist judges...or does that only apply to judges who reject legislation you support?

Update:

Crash...they did pass the original bill in the Senate with 60 votes...it went to the House for changes and returned to the Senate for final approval. Or did you miss the original vote?

In the face of a bill that at best is questionably unconstitutional, (esp where the 10th Amdt is concerned), then yes I am all for having our tax dollars spent on getting the concern resolved.

What makes me angry is that Congress couldn't bother to get that bill passed when they had a fillibuster-proof supermajority, yet they rammed it through now with questionable tactics. We should all be angry that Congress (both parties) have resorted to bending the rules to benefit their own partisan agenda.

My state is suffering, and this bill will cost us a billion dollars in 2011.

The courts are in place for a reason, and I am supportive of using legal methods to

    solve problems.

Our politicians are not very good at following the will of the people. I like the idea of

there being options when the govt does such a porkfest.

No, it applies to judges who rewrite the law and or the Constitution to support their political or social agenda. When elected officials ignore the Constitution it is the job of the courts to stop them.

A lot of people didn't realize their "elected officials" would completely ignore their wishes and pass this bill.

I know! God forbid that bills passed by rabid liberals actually have to follow constitutional guidelines.

More and more the liberal hatred of this country becomes more obvious.
