Lightweight or heavy building blocks?

I am buiding a small extension just to house an outside loo, with a mini conservatory/porch around it just big enougth to contain washer and dryer. Foundations will be part of existing extra thick patio which is lower than house by 1 ft. I will be using blockwork on 3 sides of toilet plus using polycarbonate roofing system on other part of extension. No load bearing on any wall and walls only 2100cm high Which blocks do I buy? Heavy, Aeriated or Lightweight?

Use heavy concrete blocks at the base as it will last longer, the light blocks will crumble at ground level due to the wet and cold weather conditions.

It sounds like you are trying to build a part of the Maginot Line. Why in the world are you using concrete cinder blocks? Oh well, no matter. If nothing is going to be bearing huge loads, lightweight is the way to go. It's lots easier to lay and much easier to lift.
