Bands that sound similar to Rise Against?

Hello R&P

I am looking for bands that sound similar to Rise Against. By that I mean deep, meaningful lyrics with fast, often frantic instrumentals and a kind of yelling (but NOT screaming, I often find screaming distasteful) voice.

I am very picky, so make sure your answers actually fit my criteria.

The band Hundred Reasons reminds me a lot of Rise Against. But I only recommend their newer stuff because the older stuff, in my opinion, does not "fit your criteria."

They are really deep. They have meaningful songs with heavy music. Sometimes, they yell and scream, but it only lasts for like 5 seconds. I know what you mean. Too much screaming makes me want to make them a cup of tea for their vocal chords. :-D

"Storm to Pass" is my personal favorite. "Becoming the Bull" is pretty good too.

    Good luck! :-D

Emery is a good band. I would call them a slower version of Rise Against. Their song, "Listening to Freddie Mercury" is one of my favorites.
