The best way to see if it is genuine, is to see if it has the serial number enscribed on the USB connector. If it doesn't, it's a fake.

im not quite afflicted, flash drives are purely small so its not like it is going to ruin in case you drop it (except you quite throw it and damage it on the floor, basically purchase in spite of has larger means
