Identify and name any rhetorical devices used by the author. If none exist, explain how you determined this?
I am doing a Argument Analysis on 4 of my chosen articles. This is one question i am being asked. I have studied and done the assignments to learn some of how to identify rhetorical devices but i don't understand it completely which makes it diffuicult in honestly answering the question.
I'd like to know how i can detect a rhetorical device and pretty much understand it. Can anyone help please? lol

I remember when I used to have to do this for school. It was horrible. The best advice I can give you is to look over your notes on rhetorical devices as much as possible. I assume you have some sort of reference material that lists these devices so you know what they look like. If not, then google is also a great resource to find examples of each device.
The more you read and the more familiar you get with each device, the easier it gets to identify as you keep reading. It just takes some practice and study, and there is no real "short cut" to learn them all quickly.
Good luck!
I can help you if you have any specific questions about a particular rhetorical device or if you need help identifying any. (:
