Keeping melted cheese in fridge?

I melted some cheddar cheese and mixed it with pre-made salsa for a queso dip.. Is it okay to keep the extra melted cheese in the fridge? If yes, how long will it keep and what is the best way to keep it?

    Hiya elynne85.

Wrap it in plastic wrap, then foil and place it in a zip-loc

type storage bag and it should keep for a month or so.

I hope this helped, good luck.

Just normally, its not the same after its melted, harder to rot. Its cheese, supposed to have maggots, but you melted it.
