Do most Women think Abortion of the unborn is not against God's Laws?

Today, there’s an estimated number of 50k unborn children aborted by their mothers, every year; throughout the world. Society has given women many reasons to abort their unborn children: Rape; Incest; Personal Health and disfigured children. In light of the new Healthcare Bill just passed by congress, which will pay for abortions here in the USA, we may see more abortions.

We as Christians are reminded in the Holy Scriptures, that every person born in this earth was a living soul in heaven, before the world was created. God knows each and everyone of us, before we were born. Moreover, He has destined each and everyone for a purpose in this world. Therefore, the killing of an unborn is against His plan. Moreover, it is written in the Commandments of God “ Thou shall not kill.” What is your opinion?

"Against God's Law" since when is abortion a religious issue and not a personal one?

Have you read the bible at all?

God will punish women by aborting their fetus through a miscarriage.

“Give them, O LORD–what will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.” (Hosea 9:14

God teaches the use of a bizarre ritual using cursed “bitter water” to abort a fetus who was conceived through infidelity. (Numbers 5:11-21)

God orders Moses to kill every Midianite woman who was no longer a virgin. (many of these women would obviously have been pregnant) (Numbers 31:15-18)

God promises to destroy the infants of Samaria and rip open the stomachs of pregnant women.

The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open. (Hosea 13:16)

God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah to be ripped open.

At that time Menahem, starting out from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and everyone in the city and its vicinity, because they refused to open their gates. He sacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women. (2 Kings 15:16)

God commands the killing of infants and nursing babies.

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey. (1 Samuel 15:3)

God repays your enemies by destroying their babies.

Happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us. He who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. (Psalms 137:8-9)

"We as Christians are reminded in the Holy Scriptures"

You're also reminded in the Holy Scriptures that bearing false witness is a sin, but yet you still dragged out the discredited crap about the Healthcare Bill paying for abortions.

"Moreover, He has destined each and everyone for a purpose in this world. "

And who are you to say that God's purpose doesn't include some people being aborted? Maybe by opposing abortion YOU are the one working against His plan.

Forgot to mention that Obama signed something, promising that no state money would go towards abortion, didn't you?

Besides, abortion is legal in every state, up to a certain point, which differs from state to state.

But what do you suppose would happen IF abortion was now paid for by health insurance? Every woman pregnant would say: "hey, yeah, let's have an abortion, now that it's free! Sounds like fun!"??

Do you honstely think people feelings and sense will go up in smoke as quickly as the ink of Obamas signature is drying on the bill?

If one can't afford an abortion, can they afford to support a baby, and a child later on?

And as for reminded of the Holy Scriptures: Somewhere in there it says that if a man raped a virgin, that he should marry her. How is that very christian? marry a girl to her rapist! PH! Holy scriptures. Very holy, indeed!

Numbers 31:17 , Hosea 13:sixteen , 2 Kings 15:sixteen is speaking approximately wars against different countries and in case you have been to study the bible and do your learn on the classic Hebrews you may come to be certain that Yahweh replaced right into a tribal god that supported purely the Israelites his chosen human beings and not the international.

    My oppinion

First, it won't pay for abortions as much as I wish it did.

I can only hope we see more abortions.

I am not a Christian, so your assumption is incorrect from the outset.

Life begins at birth, and not before. Sometimes the soul doesn't enter the body for days after birth, but having a soul doesn't start life.

    Predestination is balderdash.

    God supports abortion.

Your fear is well grounded, there are people, like me who believe abortion should be used as a birth control method.

tough luck for you. I hope it physically hurts you when you think about the great health care bill our beloved President Obama and the Democratic congress passed with no help from the party of "NO".

    Better luck next time.

"We as Christians are reminded in the Holy Scriptures, that every person born in this earth was a living soul in heaven, before the world was created."

There is no soul, no Heaven either.

"He has destined each and everyone for a purpose in this world. "

Or he doesn't exist and the only purpose there is for a person is the purpose they determine for themselves.

"it is written in the Commandments of God “ Thou shall not kill.”"

Keep your religion out of our government please, it will save us trouble. Sure, killing is immoral, but there are plenty of reasons why abortion isn't murder and plenty of reasons why we should let a person decide what's right for them.

What your god says is irrelevant to me. :)

It specifically states in your holy book that your god is the god of Israel and/or the god of those who choose to form a covenant with him and/or his son. He's not relevant to anyone else.

And in the USA, we are supposed to have a secular government, so that we may ALL have equal rights, not just those who follow the majority religions.

Lastly, if you believe in souls, then why could the soul of the potential child not simply incarnate somewhere else?

You should've voted against it then.

Yes, abortion of the unborn is cruel....because quite frankly, you never know who your son or daughter will end up being. What would have happened if Oprah had been aborted? Or Beethoven?

Yes. As well, today there are trillions upon trillions of unconceived children aborted by their fathers. What is the problem with christian men? Can't they take responsibility for their sperm?
