Don't know about a religion, but God created you to love you and be in relationship with you, and He waits for you to choose to love Him and be in relationship with Him in return, now and for eternity. It's the most fulfilling, amazing relationship you'll ever have!

    I won't tell you that!!

I believe in having Jesus Christ dwell in you. Then, you just go about being a bit of love in this world.

I view religions as a set of rites and rituals and do this and that at the right time, place, day, say certain prayers a thousand times... etc etc...

Jesus taught us that NO rites or rituals can change a person, inside, actually. God says what he wants is a broken and contrite heart, over the cruel things we do. A real seeing of ourselves in the light of God. Then, repenting of this and turning to Him for a new life.

This is no religion. There is no ritual, no rules, no holy spots or certain things to "do" to please God.

Just get the Holy Spirit of God from Him, then go lead out your life, following the Holy Spirit promptings. If a person says Oh I have Christ- yet they are still cruel, mean, selfish, they lie, they are not loyal, honest, kind, patient... then, do you think they really HAVE Christ within?

God says if we have His nature inside, it will surely SHOW in our lives. For this there are no rites or rituals... just go, BE filled with the Spirit. No rules needed! No rituals!

"A society is capable of surviving for thousands of years unless it is attacked from within or without by hostile forces. where such an attack occurs, the primary targets are it's religious and national gods and heroes,it's potential of leadership and the self respect and integrity of it's members.

If you look around you , you will find countless examples of these points. They scream at us every day from the newspapers and TV.

Probably the most critical point of attack on a culture is it's religious experience. Where one can destroy or undermine religious institutions then the entire fabric of the society can be quickly subverted or brought to ruin.

For the last hundred years or so religion has been beset with relentless attack. You have been told it’s the “opiate of the masses “, that it’s unscientific, that it is primitive, in short , that it is a delusion.

The source of this kind of attack is always covert and hidden. It is promoted by a few who have a vested interest in a slave society.

Unfortunately these few rely on creating fear and insecurity in others to forward and promote their enemy propaganda. These others feel correctly they have to defend themselves from an attack, but because the real enemy is hidden, they can be manipulated to attack what they really should be defending as they cannot see the real enemy.

The key here is that underneath all these attacks on organized religion there is one fundamental target:

The spirituality of man, your own basic spiritual nature, self respect and peace of mind." -- L Ron Hubbard

I will not give you a reason to believe in any religion. This is something you have to figure out for yourself. My religion does not seek converts.

Religions organize and define mankind's beliefs of God and spirituality.

The only reason to believe in one is if it coincides with your own personal beliefs.

What is more important than religion is our personal experiences with the living God.

Each of us has our own spiritual path or journey.

Each has made the choice and decision as to what they believe.

You are free to believe that God does not exist...

but more people than not believe that He does.

William, we are not in the business of providing reasons for you to believe in religion. You have to find that yourself.

I can not give you even one reason to believe in religion. I believe in God the creator and He is not religious. He just is. You either believe in Him or you don't. It is predestined, but I won't get into that.

We don't have to give you any reasons to believe - you alone have to find the reasons. My reason for believing was because I needed something in my life that was missing, and I reached out to God and found Him. If you never reach out for Him, you will never find the reason why you went searching for Him. I hope you can find Christ and I hope you find a good church to practice your faith in.

I can give you no reasons, unless you are old or about to die. it's a last hope that when wwe die we do not end. It's like another life. And it's something I truly hope isn't true.

Life is painful enough. Why live forever and remember everything and think about what you never did?

Makes dying seem a little nicer if you're going to some pearly gates in the sky or something.

Plus praying must be quite calming in stressful situations if you think someone is listening.
