Please HELP!? labor or "false" labor...I need some relief suggestions NOW! :(?
As of midnight this morning I am 37 weeks 6 days with my 3rd baby. I never experienced false labor with my other children but I think I am now and I am in alot of pain. I have been having bad diarrhea (TMI SORRY) all day and have been so sick to my stomach. I have thrown up several times as well. I started having contractions about 7:30 PM. They are VERY irregular coming every 5-25 minutes and lasting anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute. I have tried laying down, walking, a warm bath, drinking lots of water...but nothing is changing! They won't regulate or GO AWAY! :( It is now 2 AM and I am simply EXHAUSTED!! What do I do!!?? I never had this happen before and I can say I am at a loss! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

i just gave birth to my second baby about 4 weeks ago and i know EXACTLY how you feel...if you are in an extreme amout of pain, i would go to the emergency room just to make sure your not in labor, but if your contractions arent 5 minutes or less apart and regular then it more than likely is false labor, unfortunately there really isnt anything that will make the contractions weaker or stop, but try to relax and when the contractions come, take deep breaths and focus on something other than the pain, as hard as that may be, trust me if you can do that it helps alot

It may be early labor, or you could have a stomach virus that is causing the contractions. I had diarrhea prior to going into labor and the Dr. said that it's common and that sometimes the intestinal contractions from the diarrhea can start uterine contractions (but at that point I was in pain, so I could have misunderstood).
I would head to the hospital and get checked and they will probably give you IV fluids to help your dehydration, and also some anti-nausea/anti-emetic drugs via IV, even if you are not in labor so you can rest. Or better yet maybe you'll get to meet your baby tonight!

It could be early labor and you can go like that for even few days. Call your OB in the morning maybe they will have something for the pain and if they come closer together and get stronger then you know its real labor. Also for you to get admitted to the hospital you got to have contractions 5-7 minutes or they may deny you unless your water brakes. Good Luck
I also had bad period cramps and pains at 40 weeks for 30hrs and then it simply stopped.

So you are 38 weeks pregnant, and that is considered full term. I would call the doctor on call, or head to the hospital. Because this is your third baby, once labor hits, you will move fast. I think it would be wise to be checked and put on a monitor. I am sure you are exhausted, and probably dehydrated. Please call your doctor, they are on call for a reason, and you certainly have a reason to call.
Good Luck Sweetie!
