How do you get a movie clip to play in a flash animation?
I've been trying to make rain in this flash animated series I'm working on. HOWEVER, every time I create a movie clip of a rain drop falling, at the moment of putting it on the time-line and the scenery, it doesn't play, it stays still. I need to know what I'm doing wrong. I create the drop, convert it to a movie clip, then double-click it, animate it to fall through the screen, and put it in the scenery. What am I missing?

(P.S. by Movie Clip I dont mean movie clip from windows movie maker. I mean a MOVIE CLIP created IN the animation)

press CONTROL ENTER, the movie clip doesn't play in the flash editor you dummy dum you have to press control enter and when it is in a .swf it will play

Do you have Photoshop CS? or do you have Flash MX by any chance? You can import the clips through Flash MX and it will auto convert the clip into many frames for you.

"windows movie maker" and on the left hand side import a movie and put this as best answer, please.
