Why do cons think it was trickery to use reconciliation to pass healthcare fixes but it is okay to filibuster?

Aren't they both attempts by both parties to use Senate rules to get their way?

The main difference is that the Dems were elected to a large majority and represent the will of the voters.

Update:

They were elected by the voters to a large majority, therefore, they represent the will of the voters.

They have developed a worse way than filibuster to throw a monkey wrench into the works. They now object to any committee holding hearings, which means no bill can ever make it out of committee to be voted on on the floor. They are even doing this on the national security bills. http://thinkprogress.org/2010/03/24/senate-gop-hea...

As to "listening to the voters", all the latest polls show that the numbers of disapproving/approving are switching to the positive now. Those who don't like the health insurance bill must continue to pretend that they are the only people around to say that the Congress isn't listening.

"The main difference is that the Dems were elected to a large majority and represent the will of the voters."

We have seen that they do not represent the will of the voters, that's why people are upset that the Dems decided to ram healthcare down our throats.

Reconciliation was not designed for this. It's actually a violation of House rules.

There never was a complete bill. They're making it up as they go along.

And the majority was not elected to do this; it was elected as a backlash to the W administration, and nothing more. I know MANY people who voted for these evil idiots who are going to reverse. They don't make positive votes; they make negative ones.

    Vote Libertarian.

Whats wrong with stopping crap legislation ?

46% voted Republican & the Democrats do have a majority but to me its not a large one.

At this point Obama has torn this country in two.

I don't think I have ever heard it described as trickery. I am personally pleased with the way it was pushed through. The Democrats own this one for better or worse. I am betting on the latter.
