Should the voting age be raised to 27?
Since the Left has determined that they aren't mature enough to provide for themselves until that age?
Vito 1964 - That is their choice. Life is full of them. That is part of being an adult. Taking responsibility is also a part of life..., or was.

I'd settle for limiting voting to tax payers. Prove your property is being confiscated to pay for government and you can choose who does the confiscating. FICA taxes do not count.
Tax consumers only choose those who will promise them the property earned by others.

I could not agree with you more, Since the left has determined the poor misguided
PHD aspirant is not capable of taking care of themselves Until age 27, Bring the
voting age for the Professional students to 27. When you can legally prove you are
on your own and can support your own well being, You can vote. Until then your a
damn DEPENDENT.

Yes, Children up to the ages of 26 can still live off their parents! Heck! I'd raise the voting, drinking and movie ratings up to 27. I can see it now, a 21 to 26 year old goes to the movie theatre. 'Excuse me sir! You must be 27 to watch a rate R movie or must be with an adult!" or "Excuse me sir, you don't look 27 to purchase tobacco products, may I see your I.D.?" Why stop at 26? Lets just round it off to 30! Better yet, any one who watches cartoons, plays video games and pees while taking a shower can sponge off their parents and ok by government standards. Please!!! Let's get real!!!!

You get no argument from me as a matter of fact why not raise it to 30. Nice even number and a little work and life experience before voting is an excellent idea.

I know this probably slipped your mind, but advanced degrees take forever. You think a PhD candidate living on 12k a year can afford $600 a month for insurance? Or get a second (Full-time, insurance offering) job when their first one takes up 80 hours a week?

Voting age should be, 25 to 65.

I don't see a problem with that.
Those under 27 vote based on Hollywood lines.

If that's the case, you should have to be 27 to get a drivers license, too.

So should joining the military as well. We are sending 18 year olds to kill but don't even allow them to buy a beer, that is sad.
