How do I get some sleep and also protect my nose?

I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and I wear a full face mask. Recently I changed masks and started using a new one as is recommended every 3 months. With this new mask, I have had a sore develop on my nose. I have the constant hassle of air leaks interrupting my sleep and the problem of the mask tightned enough to prevent leaks but then making a bleeding sore on the bridge of my nose near the top. I put petroleum jelly on my nose every night and have tried bandaids. Any ideas out there?
