Hi! I'm glad you are determined to lose weight, good job! Determination is half the success :)

Now, I have the same problem as you few years back.

The first thing you should know : DO NOT GO ON A DIET

It does not work! It'll only make you gain more weight. Trust me, it's proven all over the world

Number two: BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU EAT

Foods that are high in sugar or fats should not be taken at all!

examples: fast food, chips, sweets, canned drinks.

take a look at this pyramid:

    http://web.mit.edu/athletics/sportsmedicine/Food%2...

Take food which only belong to the Bread, Cereal group, Vegetable group, and Fruits group

Meat eggs and milk yoghurt group can be taken, but not all the time. Probably 4 times a week.

DO NOT TAKE OIL SWEET GROUP! NO WAY!

Number three: EAT LESS, EAT MORE TIMES

you can eat up to 5-6 meals a day, BUT each meal is a small amount.

Eat less in quantity, more in frequency. This is very very effective.

Number four: NEVER EVER TOUCH SLIMMING PILLS

this pills are very very damaging to your health, please do not take them!

Number five: TAKE FOOD WHICH HELPS LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE & CHOLESTEROL

a good food that helps you lower your BP is GRREN APPLE JUICE

but remember, do not take in large amounts on a regular basis, it can cause dizziness.

take about 3 times a week, a cup full will do.

Number five: DO NOT EAT 3 HOURS BEFORE YOU SLEEP

this is a BIG NO NO. your body is not capable of processing your food properly while you are asleep. they will turn into fats.

    Number six: EXERCISE

exercise at least 4 times a week, at least 60 minutes per time

    suitable exercises: http://allwomenstalk.com/10-top-exercises-to-lose-...

instead of spending money on useless slimming pills, you can hire a personal trainer to set your exercising schedule and monitor you.

    Number seven: BE DETERMINED

BE DETERMINED! do not cave into temptation when you see fast food, chips, cookies, sweets, etc etc. Do not touch them! Always persevere to the end!

Number eight: SUPPORT FROM FAMILIES & FRIENDS

Psychology plays a big part too. You'll be more efficient with moral support from friends or families. You'll be motivated to do better :)

Stick to the eight steps strictly and you'll notice results in no time, lady :)

Remember, determination is half the success! You've already succeed half-way! Do not give up and keep on persevere till the end :)

    Good luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Most people would tell you diet and exercise more. Well I've got a way you can lose 40 pounds in 2 months. Want to know why!

    1. Set Up Realistic Weight Loss Goals.

Don't set a weird goal like 10 pound a day no.

    2. Drink Plenty of Water.

Drink about 6-8 glass of water per day.

    3. Chew More Slowly when You Eat.

If you eat 5 smaller a day you will accomplish your goal, but pleas don't eat three enormous meal. That would actual get you fatter.

    4. Exercise at least 30 minuets per day.

Pleas stay away from pills they could kill you, some pills could help but there is a few that do help. If you follow this correctly you will achieve your weight goal.

If you drink pop/soda, then cut that out of your diet completely. Drink only water and 100% fruit juices, and lean more towards the water. If you were a heavy pop drink before (two or more a day) then the elimination of this will drop 15 pounds in one month easily. The next thing to do is go for walks or bike rides for a half hour to one hour per day. Have a small breakfast, large lunch and small/medium sized dinner. This, peppered in with light exercize and the elimination of all artificial sweets should have you shedding pounds in no time.

I am also 100lbs over weight at 27 years old. I started going to a weight loss doctor and she put me on diethylpropion and a liquid diet with replacement shakes every 3 hours 5 times a day (high protein shakes) for a week then I go to a controlled carb (8 oz of meat and vegies). I have been on it for 4 days and already lost 5 lbs. If you want to go this route you may want to call ur doctor because you must be supervised. Good Luck!

The trick to restrictions is to gradually remove it from your diet. Start with making each serving of the restricted food smaller and less often. After a few days or weeks you will notice that you will crave the food less, and finally be able to get used to small or no servings of it. Realize that for your body to be healthy, you need to have balanced portions of carbohydrates, sugar, fats, proteins and nutrients inside your body. Forever restricting your body to eat any of it will lead to deficiencies. Make the servings of each meal smaller if you want to get thinner or healthier but never forbid yourself to the extent of having deficiencies.

Aside from moderating your food intake, you also have to change the way you think about food. Food is not just anything that you gorge down when ever you are hungry, or whenever you have time. Eating is nourishing your body and having fun with each bite and taste of the food. Take time to enjoy every meal, and eat more slowly. It usually takes a few minutes before a signal goes to your brain that you are full. Always remember that when you feel full, you have overeaten. And also moderating your eating speed as well as having fun with the mealtime will add to your fitness and is not depriving you of the food you love.

The staple advice and most important to remember in every meal plan is to complement it with fruits, vegetables, and most important of all, exercise. These three should always go hand in hand in every diet. Regular intake of fruits and vegetables gives you enough fiber to energize your body for a longer time than other foodstuffs. Regular exercise on the other hand trains your body and shaves off the unneeded fat. A healthy body is always present in a satisfied and craving-free person.

    Hey there -

I think you're right, losing weight fast isn't the healthiest thing, but neither is being 100 pounds overweight.

What you need is a sensible, low calorie diet that at least gives you the nutrients you need - I personally think a liquid diet would be a bad idea (I'm a personal trainer, by the way).

Also, it's going to be essential that you work out, and that you have a plan to get you where you want to go.

Source(s): Here's a resource I recommend to a lot of people who can't afford personal training but still want a solid workout and nutrition plan: http://www.rapid-fat-loss-secrets.com/ Good luck!

if you are already suffering with health issues why are you trying to worsen them? be kind to yourself and do what make sense, as these issues are coupled with your weight so once you start losing they will start getting settled at their own, focus on your weight loss dear and for this I would recommend an herbal formula "beyond weight management tea" of secretsoftea.com just because your health conditions do not allow you doing intense things, go get one and see what wonders it does.
