Which two promotions did Hulk Hogan have success before Wwf noticed him, NJPW or AWA?

Hulk Hogan did wrestling holds and wrestling moves in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) that he never did in the United States. Moreover, Hulk Hogn won the IWGP World Heavyweight Title, New Japan Pro Wrestlings' Top Singles Title. Hulk Hogan never officially won the American Wrestling Associaition World Heavyweight Title while he wrestled there. Verne Gagne did not like the fact the Hulk Hogan did not have an Amateur Wrestling Background and was primarily a Power Wrestler and Brawler. More than 20 Years later, the American Wrestling Associaition recognized Hulk Hogans title wins over Nick Bockwinkle. So, this was done after the fact. I would say New Japan Pro Wrestling he had more success, but the WWF lured him from the AWA.

I would say beating Antonio Inoki for the IWGP in tournament format is the biggest achievement...I mean come on he did a F'N flying armbar in a match against The Great Muta.
