Why do folk who ask private, personal, sensitive questions often both hide Q/A's & don't allow email?

I ask as a caring grandad

Hiding Q/A's = caring folk can't assess you to know how best to help you, yes?

& refusing email = all the world sees your personal stuff

& that will also deter the replies of those best able to help you, yes?

Update:

Just time to thank replies *1-4

Enjoy this one too:-

Must enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, eh?

LOL

Update 2:

Thanks to replies 5-8 for being better

Especially Cupcake, who is best so far: in fact, I nearly chose her now, but I'll leave it open till Tues am

Update 3:

Praying for all in distress, I know I should invite email from any who need prayer, as God knws each of us better than we know ourselves

& folk online can't see your facial 'mini expressions' - or read your body language - both of which are vital clues to the heart, especially at times when the distressed one doesn't understand their own state of heart & mind, yes?

Must learn how to connect my webcam to this laptop: my desktop is being repaired following the Firefox 3.6 malfunction on the news last week

Anyway, I must post a new question

Who else seeks a network of Y/A movers & shakers to warm up & brighten this cold, wet, windy holiday?

& to make a real beneficial difference in this crazy world?

Because some people on here are idiots, who enjoy harassing people.

    So many reasons:

    1. Why appear vulnerable to everyone on email/messengers, when being evasive "baffles brains"?

    2. Mostly they are insecure and ungrateful folk taking everything and everyone for granted, ignoring the fact that they plea for help is being answered.

    3. Most ofter they are just manipulators - using their incognito and "stressful situations" to always stay in the limelight.

Source(s): There's not much to hide for those who are sincere.

Not allowing e-mail is sensible idea!

However, when a question is asked on here, many people are downright rude to the asker and to some of the other answerers. I would be wary of allowing complete strangers too much access to my innermost thoughts.
