botched circumcision?

I recall hearing from my mom that when I was circumcised there was a lot of blood and some sort of problem. it didn't really occur to me until recently, I'm 39 now, that there might be some correlation between that and the fact i've had problems maintaining erections. I can get an erection initially- but it seems moreso to do with the excitement of the situation and not so much the sensation. I've always had problems receiving oral- probably because the sensation focuses on the head/crown area. it seems for me to really be able to orgasm I need quite a bit of stimulation nearer the trunk/base area. and since I'm endowed (7 1/2 to near 8 when the moon is in phase lol) it has been difficult during sex because it can get painful for the girl as I'm trying to hit my sensitive areas. and with a condom- forget about it- after the initial excitement there seems to be almost no sensation. I could count on one hand the number of times I've actually been able to orgasm with a condom.

I've looked at some (hard to find many very good and descriptive of the anatomy) photos online and researched the circumcision process, and I think there may be some things awry. I'm not even sure I have a frenulum (which seems to be the male "clitoris"- ?) but instead maybe a mass of scar tissue-

but I'm thinking now- I have no idea what sex is like- or masturbation- or orgasm... I mean, I ejaculate and '***' but it seems, well, like not all that big of a deal compared to what I've come to understand as 'Wow'-orgasm from other sources (no, not just tv shows and pornos).

are there any sources online that are good about showing 'normal' circumcised anatomy and about describing where/how many/how sensitive the nerve endings are, a map of where the most sensitve parts typically are so I could do a little, I guess, comparative anatomy?

I guess that's about it then. thanks.

and don't bother with the "have you tried ____ condoms? they're very sensitive!"

been there - tried that - I'm talking about virtually no (though thre is no way for me to know comparatively, as I've only had the one penis my entire life lol) sensation around the top half

Update:

@ladyren

"The mechanism for maintaining an erection does not rest in the area of skin removed during a circumcision."

what is the saying "what is the most sexual organ of the body? the brain"

I wonder how sexy it is to have sexual assault and mutilation imprinted onto one's psyche during the most formative of years

I'd tell you to suck it- but I'd have some problems knowing if you did

and no- I'm very fit and am on an about 85% vegan diet

if it's no problem then I'm sure you have no problem with female circumcision then- ... oh, you DO have a problem with that?

here's an erection for you- right between my index and ring finger

Update 2:

your paralysis analogy is bogus anyway

in spite of a severed spinal cord not transmitting touch to the analytical parts of the brain does not necessarily mean that stimulus can not still be interpreted by baser brain functions, which may be involuntary

those with paralysis can still have goosebumps, although they may not "feel cold"

since reproduction is one of the basest drives, it only stands to reason then that it could still be an involuntary reaction

ya ask your doctor family members and they'll say it is fine - that's because that's what they make money doing - ask a pimp if he thinks prostitution is ok and likewise he will say prostitution is perfectly fine - hey it's mentioned in the Bible!

All circumcisions are botched. There is no such thing as a good circumcision; it is genital mutilation and should be as illegal to perpetrate on male minors as it is for females.

Circumcision is neural and vascular damage to the penis. It always damages sexual feeling, function and ability, but since it has no standards, the damage varies wildly from individual to individual. The depth and location of the wounds to the penis vary incredibly, as evidenced from the scars, which can appear anywhere from just below the glans to 1/2 or even 2/3 of the way down the penile shaft.

Most circumcised males are unaware of what the damage of circumcision has done to them; sex still feels good, to most of them, but they have no idea of what it's supposed to really be like with a complete and undamaged penis. Some males have sexual problems as a result of the damage, but they don't attribute it to the damage inflicted on them.

I had problems with more than the usual 50-75% loss of sexual sensitivity as a result of the damage of circumcision, forced on me as an infant.

I finally found out about foreskin restoration, which has vastly improved my sexual sensitivity and function, even though restoration won't repair the permanent neural and vascular damage.

Most than 200,000 guys are restoring their foreskins, to regain some of the feeling/ability destroyed by the damage that is circumcision.

Damaging a penis doesn't make it function better----obviously it damages a male's sexuality.

That's why it was done more than 100 years ago to try to prevent boys from masturbating.

Circumcision is a fraud and a hoax.

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright.

You have a normal circumcised anatomy as far as I can tell. Having a lot of bleeding really has nothing to do with anything. Circumcision is a damaging procedure period, with or without bleeding. So you really are no special situation. Unfortunatly many circumcised men have the same exsperiences as you. Circumcision greatly reduces sensitivity for the male because 2/3 of the nerve endings in the penis are in the foreskin, also the head is now exposed and rubbing against your clothing all day which causes the head to lose a lot of sensitivity as well. Circumcision removes blood vesels as well and that mixed with sensitivity loss can cause an early inset of erectile dysfunction.

I do believe however that you have suffered above the average loss in circumcsiion however.

I highly reccomend non-surgical foreskin restoration. It can be a long an in depth process but I did it last year (took me 1.5 years from begining to end) and my sensitivity has doubled since then, my orgasms are much longer and way more intense, instead of just having genital orgasms I have full body orgasms. Sex is just a million times more enjoyable and I HIGHLY reccomend it if it's something you would like to do, if not then I reccomend you getting something called a Senslip or Man hood. It's an artificial foreskin you wear over the penis to protect the head from your clothing, eventually the sensitivity in the head will be restored and you will feel a great increase in sensitivity.

However thats really all that you can do, is something to reverse the effects of circumcision.

I'm sorry you were so unfortunate.

Your doctor should have known the foreskin does not retract until late childhood or even puberty, so you do nothing special, just wipe the outside of his penis clean and leave it alone. Unfortunately, the main risk of circumcision is fully ignored. There is 100% chance that circumcision will damage the male genitals as to function and pleasure. Not mentioning this fact is tantamount to spreading misinformation. This surgery takes away main male pleasure zones including the mechanism to gain and maintain an erection. The other risks (besides loss of sexual function, ED, PE and loss of PLEASURE) include curved or misshapen erection, painful erection, botches of all sorts (many requiring redo) and death. Boys dies each year in the US from this sick practice.

The mechanism for maintaining an erection does not rest in the area of skin removed during a circumcision.

The question you ought to think about is, " Is this a relatively new thing in your erection process? Or has this problem always existed?"

Not every man, intact or circumcised can maintain an erection to his own satisfaction.... not even when he's a teen. There are plenty of "botched" circumcised men who have no erectile problems, and plenty of men never having had a circumcision with erectile problems...even as young men.

At 39, here are a few things you might think about:

If you have a high cholesterol blood chemistry, erectile dysfunction is common. Clogged vessels are systemic... that is, it is not just in your heart where plaque is a problem, but throughout your body.....everywhere where you have small arteries, and vessels. If you are inactive, or not fit, you increase your chances of erection problems.

As well, if you are overweight, anything you have is made worse. Alcohol makes erections difficult. If you have or are borderline diabetic, erections are a problem. Some very young men never get nor can keep an erection, and some very old ones have no problems.

Perhaps it comes back to my dad's favorite sentence..."It is never the years, it's the mileage". And obesity, borderline diabetes, alcohol, high cholesterol, pool diet, lack of exercise.. etc are real 'mileage'.

As I remember a discussion with my dad, men who have zero feeling below their waist...... i.e., even paraplegics, and quadriplegics, can get an erection!!! So, it has little to do with what might have been a botched circumcision.

You might ping around on the internet to check this one one....

    Hey there,

Most often premature ejaculation occurs in younger men, but it can affect men of all ages. There could be a number of different reasons for the problems, both physical and psychological. The good news is that there are certain solutions available that have proven effective, such as the Ejaculation Trainer (see site here http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565), which can show a man how to develop permanent ejaculation control. By successfully addressing a man’s ejaculation concerns and teaching him how to control it, he will quickly become more confident and both he and his partner will be much more satisfied.

    Good Bye

A simple way of lasting longer in bed is to just relax your muscles more. Learn here https://tr.im/1FOYQ

Normally you'll find that your muscles get more and more tense as you approach orgasm. When you notice this happening just allow your muscles to relax again. By consciously relaxing your muscles you can delay orgasm by several minutes.
