Someone died after I paid them in PayPal --- How do I get my money back?

Question

So, I paid a guy for some goods and he hasn't shipped them for 3 weeks. He said he would do it next Monday. But I got an email today saying that he has passed away last night. I didn't know him very well, but I do know he was a one man show, so I have no chance getting my items. I obviously cant file a complaint against him, and ask for my money back, so how do I go about getting my money back. If it wasn't a large amount of money, I'd just leave it, but it was a few hundred dollars worth of stuff.

I would contact paypal customer service about this and see what they say.

How did he email you if he just died? If he was a "one man show" who sent you the email? 

Sounds very suspicious to me especially after this length of time and the fact he died last night, if a family member or business associate did have his email passwords who on earth would deal with emails at a time like that so soon after someone died. It would be the last thing on your mind?  

Nobody other than me has my password details for Paypal, Ebay or even my ordinary email so if I died any goods I was supposed to post would remain unposted and the buyer would never ever know why they weren't sent, certainly nobody else would be able to email buyers and inform them I'd died.

Contact Paypal you should get your money back no problem.;

paypal should do it, just tell them them youve not had the item......and that really sounds bull shyte about him dieing...he's just a cheap @rse
