What year would this be from?

    late 1800s. does it work? have it appraised.

    Oh gosh this is old, as an estimate i would say the 1800's the early or mid 1800's. Hard to say without physically seeing it. It could be later because of the handle, older blow torches had an oddly shaped handle.

    It looks very similar to the one in the link below. Which is the beginning of 20th century.

    The style of bottle stayed into the 1960s, and perhaps to the 70s before Butane started to take over.
