I had a giggle at the silly 50-something welsh woman on UK Border Force who was arguing like mad with immigration to allow her 20-something, non English speaking Indian fiance to come to the UK. They had met a month or so ago in India and were "madly in love" apparently (despite the obvious language barrier). "I'm not going 'ome without him!!" she was insisting.

I'm sorry but - what an idiot! How long does she think he's going to stick around (with a dumpy, deluded, over 50 y.o. woman who cannot bear him any children) when he gets his ILR? He'll be gone so fast she won't see him for dust!! And will no doubt marry a fresh, nubile 21 year old girl straight from his homeland!

Now either she already knows this and just wants to enjoy some fun and frolics with a young stud whilst it lasts (those menopausal hormones raging!!) or she's utterly ridiculous and living in a dream world.
