How long does it take for you to see clear when you 1st get contact lenses?
Hi guys I have been wearing glasses since I was 4, finally got the ok for contacts for astigmatism and I was prescribed the Proclear brand, anyone wear these? Anyway, they move alot and I see really blurry at NEAR distances..My question is, is this normal....If so how long does it take to clear up?
I know it may take a few days to get adjusted to glasses, so this is why I ask...thanks for your help!!!!

you should try a different brand. they shouldnt be moving on your eyes. and as soon as you put them on you should be able to see clear. if you see blurry up close maybe your prescription is wrong

I have a few answers from experience. Once my contact was inside out and it moved around. The contact is designed to fit your lens's curvature and depth. If it's inside out, when you hold it to the light on your finger, it's edges are a little curved out like a trumpet. Pop it the other way and it should look more like a bowl shape with straighter edges. You always have to keep it clean too. Make sure you rub off the tiny particles, palm of hand works better so it won't go down the drain as easily. Rinse them well. If it's n not inside out or dirty, check with ophthalmologist to see if contacts are the right size. Hope I helped!
