Hard boiled eggs from Easter and a toddler...?

My son, 20 months, was just fed colored eggs from Easter by my husband. They however were unrefrigerated this whole time. So over 24 hours... Is there something I need to do?? Do I wait it out? Do I induce vomiting? Will he be alright? Help!!

dont do anything, though it is best to refrigerate hard boiled eggs, they are okay to leave out for up to 48 hours, so as long as the shell didnt have any cracks since they were already cooked and sealed inside the egg, there is a extremely small chance of bacteria making him sick. if he starts vomiting or doesnt fell well, take him to a doctor, otherwise hell be fine.

Nope. I'll leave that for the kids. I'll be a kid in other ways, and not by anything that would require much cleanup. I could make my pasta salad with wild rice & asparagus. At least I could take the leftovers to work on Monday & Tuesday. For eggs, I'm content with a cheese omelet or French toast with warm syrup. It might require a little cleanup, but it will be tastier than hard-boiled eggs. For dessert, make mine chocolate, maybe even chocolate pudding. There seems to be a trend toward chocolate for Easter now. Don't have a clue what other countries do for Easter or to keep ancient practices. I'll listen to a streamed online Easter church service, & then I might do the ancient practice of doing laundry or maybe napping, which has a long history, too.

I'm sorry but why did your husband give your child colored boiled eggs from over 24 hrs ago? common sense...ding ding...to your husband.

Seriously though I doubt anything bad will happen. Dont induce vomiting, that would onyl make him upset.

he should be fine but if he starts vomiting or acting like his tummy hurts take him to the doctor.
