Not to mention that a worldwide flood would've killed the majority of terrestrial plants, which forms the backbone of the entire terrestrial food chain.

    Thousands of years? No.

Who said there were only two zebras and two animals? There were a variety of other animals. And herbivores tended to be regarded as the clean animals so they would go in by "sevens," multiplying their numbers.

Source(s): A worldwide deluge is common in very many ancient stories. So much for "myth."

A better question is: Wouldn't animals be strangely mutated due to the many generation of inbreeding?

actually, there was 7 pairs of the so-called clean animals and 1 pair of the unclean. but it is just a story......there was a similar one written in Mesopotamia before the bible story......

It's what I don't get about the whole Adam and Eve thing. Sure, they could have reproduced and had kids. But who would make kids with those kids? Their siblings? INCEST.
