How do I determine which pieces of identified spyware should be deleted.?

I just installed Yahoo anti-spyware and it identified 55 pieces of spyware. Also, a box popped up warning that some of those pieces of spyware should not be deleted. So, how do I know which ones should or should not be deleted-with nothing more to judge by than the name of each individual piece of spyware?

    Most likely this are just cookies. Cookies will not harm your PC. If you really want to know if something is there then scan your PC with Superantispyware free edition.
