You obviously haven't seen his work prior to NXT. He's been in vavious promotions for over a decade. I'm most familiar with his time in ROH...believe me when I say that he is being held back right now from showing everything he can do, probably for storyline purposes. He's a great technical performer, and appears able to counter just about anything. I'm hoping that after he gets his contract (he WILL get the contract), he will be allowed to reallly showcase his talent.
FYI - he was specifically recruited from ROH to WWE. But at his request, he went to developmental (FCW) so that he could work out his ring rust. You see, he's a true professional who knows what it takes to succeed in a huge global production like WWE. I admire and respect the h3ll out of him.

After freeing maximum of Superstars from the roster some weeks back, they greater effective make advantageous what they are getting, is the main suitable. They hit the Jackpot with Bryan Danielson. i'd start up him off on the uncooked variety, for the 1st month or 2, try against as a mid carder yet going undefeated. alongside the way, defeating Superstars such as a results of fact the Miz and Chris Jericho and forming a tag team, perchance with John Morrison for some weeks of Tag team wrestling. Making him seize the U. S. Championship. i think of John Cena will make a heel turn quickly, already to prepare himself for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27. whilst he does that around SummerSlam, i'd make Bryan Danielson drop the U. S. Championship to somebody like Evan Bourne after John Cena assaults him yet he makes a decision to compete anyhow. A John Cena vs Bryan Danielson adventure at SummerSlam and Daniel Bryan captures the Championship. BQ:David Otunga sure, he's yet another fact television celebrity getting into the international of expert wrestling. He additionally dates a destiny music celebrity yet i think he will win it. he's the main pronounced rookie for a reason. climate he's remembered for NXT or no longer tagging in John Cena in that classic tag team adventure on uncooked some months back. Or remembered for doing the fact television show with long island, he would be remembered and that i'm able to work out a international Championship around his waist in 6-3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

It's because your only watch main stream wrestling. If you'd seen some of his matches in Ring of Honor National Wrestling Association, and many others. then you probably wouldn't be asking this question. I recommend you that you view some of his matches online on either Daily Motion or Youtube. You won't be disappointed. Also, another one of his nicknames was the American Dragon so that might help you if your interested on viewing some of his matches outside of WWE. I'm not too much of a big fan of Bryan, but I got to admit that he puts on great matches and is a phenomenal wrestler.

Yes. Because there is a world outside of WWE/TNA. Bryan Danielson has been wrestling on "independents" in America, as well as overseas for a long time. He may not look like a typical WWE wrestler, but he is very accomplished. Those fans who know about wrestling outside of the Big One(WWE) know a lot about him. I'm sure WWE is partly booking him to seem like he's no big deal, but he has competed all over the world, and can ACTUALLY wrestle.

Bryan Danielson is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. He wears the attire that WWE tells him to wear. He's won thousands of matches. The only reason he hasn't won on NXT is because the WWE hasn't booked him to win yet.

yes your missing the fact that for the past 6 or seven years he has been the best wrestler in north america other than angle. he was the top indy guy for years, he has more wrestling skills than anyone in wwe other than y2j or regal. trained by shawn michaels. and he is really good on the mic, you just havent been ale to see it yet. if he isnt one of wwe's top guys in a few years they dont know what they're doing at all because he is the total package. youtube his matches with one hour matches with samoa joe, his great fueds with austin aries, and countless others and you'll see what all the hype is about.

Everyone is missing the point. This is just an exhibition show. WWE has already picked their next superstar and it will be Daniel Bryant because of his Indie Wrestling following. It's kind of like a practice for these guys to get them ready for Raw or Smackdown.

Yeah. What your missing is that this is WRESTLING and Danielson is one of the best WRESTLERS in the world. Wrestling isn't about your looks or attire or record. Wrestling is about wrestling and I wouldn't expect a ten year old to know that. I don't hate you though. I liked Hogan when I was ten so I too was at one time a dumb misinformed child with bad taste.

because he's been working the Indies and Ring of Honor for the past 10 years and he's f'n amazing in ring
granted he doesn't have 'the look" but he has the skill
his attire: how is his maroon attire any less carppy than Austin's black attire
he hasn't won, because he hasn't been booked to win... its pro wrestling, win/loss means jack
what you are mising is exposure to wrestling beyond the WWE TV product...
