What happens to pollen once it gets into a waterway?
I have been seeing an overabundance of pollen here in the last few days on the ground. What happens when all this pollen gets washed away? What does it do to the river system and waterways?

It will either be eaten by water organisms or it will simply decompose. Usually it should have little to no effect on the river systems.
