According to God you will always be married. And if either of you sleeps with someone else, you commit adultery.And if either of you had sex with some else before your marriage, you have committed fornication. And is not worthy of marriage.

Marriage is an agreement to be sexual partners so if you get back together you are married. Any one that teaches that you can't marry some one else would have to say that you was always married and your divorce was not valid.

Depending on what the law is where you are at you might need a civil marriage to be married in the eyes of the state, here all you have to do is agree to be married and live together as husband and wife and the state recognizes your marriage.

If you had gotten divorced then you must remarry because you have gotten divorced. If you remained divorced you are still married in God's eyes till one happens to die. If you sleep with him not being married then it is called fornication.

In the eyes of God you would still be married, but you would need to regulate it for the law.
