Would you help your husbands ex mistress?
If your husband had cheated on you, would God expect you to help the woman he cheated with if she was at the lowest point of her life and had no one else to help her? How would you offer help? I am looking for answers based on Christian principals please.

If you have a social worker sent to your home and your child is interviewed because of unfounded accusations, do you have the right to complain about the teacher when these accusations are proved false?

7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoIs there any adults out there with high functioning Autism?
My son is 8 years old and on the high functioning end of the Autism Spectrum. He is extremely intelligent, but has problems with social interaction (gets loud over excited and doesn't understand personal space etc) Will he be able to control this as he gets older and hold down a job and relationship? Any adults with first hand experience out there to help me?

2 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoAny suggestions for a 10 day Rome itinerary?
Not interested in shops, just ancient sites. Pompeii is not an option for excursion as my son refuses to go near the Naples area. He is 8 and found out about the "threat" of Tsunami (yeah I know but he's 8). But any other excursion ideas would be great ;-)
We will be staying right next to the Colosseum and going in July.

13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow long should it take a 7 year old to read Roald Dahls "The Witches" and "James and the Giant Peach"?
My son did it between last night and tonight in about 4 hours. I was shocked. Is this a normal speed? I quizzed him on the storyline and he went into great detail. He is on Autistic spectrum, but has no patience for homework and writing!

4 AnswersGrade-Schooler1 decade agoShould I approach the parent of the child who invited everyone in the class to their party but my son?
The child and my son are friends and play together in school. All the other kids in the class have had an invitation but my son. The little boy whos party it is told my son he could go, but the mother did not give him an invite. All the kids got them today. My son has Asperger's, so cant read people at the best of times. He doesn't understand, but because of his condition I dont think it will make him too upset. I am very upset though. Should I ask this woman why he didn't get one or just rise above it?

1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow do I calm down and not get stressed out?
I have found myself at my wits end with stress. I am a single parent to a 5 year old and 7 year old on the Autism spectrum. I love them dearly, but find it hard to get them to listen to me. My ex husband only has them once a week and they always do as he says. But this week alone, my 5 year old has just about brought the house down!!!! Between drawing on walls (and himself) climbing, getting the iron and plugging it in, pouring away all the shampoo/handwash, and just not seeming to take a telling (naughty corner is NOT working supernanny!!). I also have a lot of money pressures (like mostly everyone!!! LOL). I have seemed to let it all get on top of me. So my question is, how do I step back from a situation, calm down, and think it through sensibly without losing it?

21 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoHow do I handle this? My son is on the Asperger's end of the AS?
he is newly turned 7. Some of the older boys in school are being mean to him, and my son is getting the blame because the boys are lying to the teacher about it. They play "fights", but its always 5 against my boy. He thinks they are his friends, but they are bullying him. He has always had a problem with understanding appropriate space with other people, and can get carried away and rough sometimes, and this is why the teacher thinks it is the same thing now. My question now is, how do I approach the school and get my point across firmly without getting annoyed? I am livid right now about the whole situation. He thinks everyone is his friend, and it breaks my heart.
