What is required in the state of VA to become a medical lab technologist?
I currently have an Associates of Arts & Science. I will finish my BS with a major in Animal & Poultry Science in December. I have tons of lab experience & really biology labs. I know there is a certification that is required, but is there ne thing else? Is an internship required? Specific labs? etc.
I want to work in the industry for awhile to make sure that's what I want to do with my life. If all works out, I want to pursue further education. :)
I'm currently waiting to discuss the matter with my academic adviser.
