What if Mosleys trainer 'Brother' Nazim Richardson did not find plaster of paris in Margaritos wraps?
would mosley have suffered the same fate as cotto? where would the fight game be at right now? would mayweather be fighting berto instead of mosley assuming mosley was debilitated?
what do you think would be the whole outcome, not just what would have happened to mosely but boxing in general?

Antonio Margarito would of won the match due to him cheating. That's suspected
that Margarito cheated when he fought Miguel Cotto in Summer 2008. Margarito
would of won thats just common sense if his would be wrapped with those pads
in his gloves he would of had the advantage of winning the match by cheating. I'd
like to see that re-match Top Rank should make The Battle 2 re-match Cotto vs.
Margarito 2 if they both win their respective matches later this year, to answer
the question Tony Margarito was the favorite to defeat Shane Mosley last year.

I honestly still think Shane Mosley would have won because Antonio Margarito didn't land a clean shot on Mosley the whole night. Mosley was interviewed by The Ring Magazine a few months back and he was asked what he thought about Margarito trying to cheat with his hand wraps in the fight and Mosley said he thought that the wraps wouldn't have made a difference. When the interviewer asked him if he knew what kind of damage Margarito could have done to his face if he had landed his punches with the illegal wraps, Mosley responded by saying, "he didn't hit me that night." Mosley didn't only show a great offensive game in that fight, he showed a great defensive game- he was very elusive of Margarito's big shots and even if Margarito had his hand wraps, it wouldn't have helped him against an opponent he couldn't hit.
The only thing that I think MAY have been different is Margarito's confidence because I imagine that after he was caught, he knew that he would be in big trouble and since he had just lost a crucial advantage, he knew that he was up against the wall with a tough opponent in Shane Mosley. Even if he did have all of his confidence though, I still think Mosley would have won because he was on a mission on that night and he was determined to prove all of the doubters that said he was washed up, wrong. And he did just that by thoroughly dominating Margarito and becoming the first to stop him in convincing fashion- Nazim Richardson wasn't only a great trainer because he caught Margarito trying to cheat, he was a great trainer for how he prepared Mosley for that fight- Richardson prepared Mosley to give the best performance of his career, and that's exactly what he did, with or without illegal hand wraps, he still would have given his best performance and he still would have won the fight. If the illegal hand wraps weren't discovered, then maybe Margarito would have performed a bit better but the way Mosley dominated him makes me believe that no matter what advantage Margarito had, he would have still got beaten that night because Mosley was simply the better man and the better fighter.
So, I think that Mosley would have still went on to fight Mayweather, although Margarito would not have been suspended and may have went on to fight a rematch with Miguel Cotto or Joshua Clottey, and depending on if he won either or both of those rematches, he may have gotten a rematch with Mosley or possibly a fight with Manny Pacquiao.

His dad will always be there. He is just adding an extra set of eyes in Richardson. Chemistry is very important as well. And you can see Nazim is the type who probably gets on well with mosley. The brain trust that comes with the Hopkins team is very impressive. And it's not as if they don't know eachother, those things take time to get comfortable with. He's been along with Hopkins many many times in their Golden Boy Promotions outings. So I think it is a very interesting and possibly good thing to do. Plus it gives his camp a little jolt by shaking it up a bit. The old way can get you into a physical as well as mental rut. Plus it not only does something for him. It can also throw the Margarito camp off a little, by giving them something extra to think about, maybe a unknown element they arent prepared for. A little extra juice might be good.

Great question. But during the Mosley Margarito fight, Margarito was spent by the time they hit the middle rounds. Before the plaster of paris would have had a chance to harden, and take affect, Margarito was already out of the fight and a beaten man. But for argument's sake, I think SSM would have gone into retirement and you would have seen a Pacquiao Margarito fight instead of Pac Cotto and who knows how long Margarito would have gotten away with it. I'd like to think Roach would have caught them, but you never know.

Mosley knocks him out no matter what. That plaster couldn't stop Shane from hitting his face a millions times. Mainly the plaster really helps in the championship rounds when the gloves get wet and heavy from perspiration, like in the Cotto fight, Cotto was winning then you kind of see him getting broke down late. Shane whooped him, it would have never got that far.

What if Floyd Sr. did not spot Manny JUICE HEAD?
Same thing.
JUICE might be worse than illegal wraps, because it is harder to detect.
