Dna test shows 6% Native American, How many generations back?

I'm wondering how many generations of my family history have passed to get the 6% Native American part? Doesn't have to be exactly..thank you.

    One generation (parent): 50%

    Two generations (grandparent): 25%

    Three generations (great grandparent): 12.5%

    Four generations (great great grandparent): 6.25%
