While In Navy Bootcamp:?

I am going into the Navy hopefully this year if all works out and a spot opens. My question is this: I take several vitamins every morning such as B complex, fish oils, potassium, and a multivitamin- since I do not know when I am going, when would be a good time to ween my body off of them? And, is there any way I can take any of the afore mention supplements while in bootcamp?

Update:

I do need the supplements.

I have been advised to take them under the watchful eye of a Senior Chief in the Navy.

I have not taken them one day to test to see what it will be like, no energy problems but my digestive tract was messed up really bad the entire day! Fish oils have that effect, so I am sorry to the man who told me they werent like drugs. NO they arent but the same effects in a round about way do occur. Your body gets used to them and having everything it needs, and then when you stop- it sort of is stunned.

Not sure about weening yourself off of them, but as far as taking them in basic: I went back in 06 to Great Lakes and one day at sickcall I asked the medical officer seeing me if I could somehow get a script to take multi-vitamins and he wrote me a chit, said it was fine and the RDC let me buy them at the store and keep them in my footlocker. Worth a shot.

You will be fed a nutritious diet in boot. Forget the vitamins. You don't have to WEAN off vitamins... they're not drugs. Try eating a balanced diet. Unless your physician said you need supplements...YOU DON'T.
