Why is one dogmatism considered acceptable and why?

1. I say the word Goddamn and the lady behind me at a coffee shop calls me "sinner".

OR

2. I say the word retard and the lady behind me at a coffee shop calls me "ignorant".

Update:

I'm not insulting people, I'm just finding dogmatic people to be easily too offended and I'm wondering if one certain dogmatism is defendable or not.

Update 2:

I will always wonder and think.

The only other option is being lazy and voting for game show contestants.
