Can anyone name this flower?
I came across this picture on the net this morning and was wondering if anyone knows what the common name of the flower is? The person who took the shot didn't know. :(

It's an Osteospermum, which are somewhat tender perennial plants, though usually surviving mild frosts. These are sometimes called Cape or African Daisies, due to their natural habitat in parts of South Africa. There are other common names too, but these tend to be the most widely used.
They come in a range of colours, and sometimes their petels have unusual shapes too. There's a photo of a similar one here - http://images.bidorbuy.co.za/user_images/651/390Os...
There's some information about them here http://www.osteospermum.com/ and on wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteospermum
Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
