very skinny vertical line on pregnancy test?
it's one of those "+/-" tests. there's a light blue vertical line, but it's really skinny and slightly off-center. Could this be a positive result? my period is also 13 days late.

the +/- tests are really, really rubbish. i took one and it came up with a plus but I thought that I wasn't pregnant because the vertical line was SO faint that I just believed I had waited too long and it was an off reading. Then, I waited another 2 weeks and my period still had not come on, so I took two more digital tests and they both read "Yes". Then I went to the doctors and got the baby on ultrasound and I am 6 weeks pregnant.
It is most definitely a positive test. Go out and get the digital tests and take two. Then you know for sure.
Best of luck !

Its possible that it is positive, when I first read this I thought it said horozontal line but it said vertical so yeah... When I first found out I was pregnant I had to take 3 tests because the lines were so faint I didnt believe in them. You should get another one just in case, if you have missed your period for 13 days now then it should be a pretty strong positive if you are. Keep in mind there is a such thing as a false negative but never a false positive, you should go to the doctors/clinic and get a blood test done, its more accurate.

It could be but I will tell you that the blue dye tests are known for giving false positives. I have a friend who's been ttc for 6 years and got two positive tests with those and turned out she wasn't pregnant and then a few months later my husband mistakenly bought me the same brand and I got a positive and I wasn't pregnant. I've heard of it from other people too. I would buy a different test and retest. Good luck!
