Going outside will not affect her condition, it is however unfair to expose other who might not be immune, so the garden is the only real option.

If she stays away from other people, maybe just like playing in the garden. Then yes, she should be ok. However, she should be resting so don't let her go mad. haha.

as long as she's not gonna infect anyone its okay... besides, getting chicken pox early is good for you. correction> better to catch when you're younger than when you're older.

in fact, my uncle who's a doctor told me to go hug and kiss my sister when she had the chicken pox. he deliberately wanted me to get it early. apparently it hurts a whole lot more when you get it as an adult.

I wouldn't be taking her to public places though.

I would advise against it as its highly contagious.
