What is the point of the SNP?

Why do Scottish voters vote for the SNP?, I'd imagine it's because they want a party that could try to get more funding from westminster but...

Scotland uses more money than it produces, it has an efficient healthcare system and free university tuition, why would they need more money when northern England is taking the crumbs from the south easts' plate?

And how could they think Scotland would be better off without the rest of the UK?

SNP want fiscal autonomy for Scotland and no funding if possible. All tax raised stays in Scotland and that sort of thing. I believe this already happens in parts of Spain.

SNP argue that Scotland already produces more than it gets back. You are only listening to the Unionist side. Perhaps they are saying this to keep Scotland? Trust is not their strong point.

End of the day, the Unionist parties are now falling over themselves to give more powers to Scotland (but stopping short of full fiscal autonomy). They didn't do this before and still wouldn't if not for SNP making the case.

SNP put Scotland first. The Unionist parties put the Union first - not Scotland.

    Mindflux is a total liar,

Tax raised in Scotland already goes towards Scotland.

They want nothing more than for Scotland to become some squabbling piece of independent dirt slowly in decline thanks to that declining oil up north!

The Snp care not for the Scottish people, if they did then they would indeed change the laws on child-care rather than use it as an excuse for independence (which is disgusting). If they really did care then they would make devomax our top priority rather than independence.

They don't think it would be better off, they think it could live off the oil money to "develop new industry" which is a ridiculous excuse to hurl us into debt.
