could my body be alergic to certain veggies and they make me fat ?
I know on a glycemic index diet they say that certain foods make you gain weight because you are allergic to them . My cousin for instance is not supposed to eat broccoli or cauliflower . I keep gaining weight or can not lose it . I eat a lot of broccoli and cauliflower . Could this be the reason i gain weight ? Maybe I should eat a different type of veggie ?
I eat about 4 egg whites and 1 yolk with mushrooms and a half cup of pinto beans for breakfast . Could this be a problem ?

I've never heard of a broccoli allergy, but most veggies produce toxins that can be hard on the stomach - however I'm pretty sure we've evolved to deal with those toxins so they're usually not a problem. However, Broccoli and Cauliflower will not make you fat.
Eating eggs is a perfectly good breakfast, but you should eat the yolks too. I wouldn't eat beans AT ALL though. They cause inflamation, they're high in cabs and calories that you just don't need.
If you're worried about cholesterol, don't. Food cholesterol and blood cholesterol are completely different. You can search online about that, but eating cholesterol doesn't give you high cholesterol. If you want to dig a little deeper, you'll find that "high cholesterol" isn't an indicator of heart disease. Check out Gary Taubes and his book "Good Calories, Bad Calories." We've been lied to for years.

You can be allergic to any kind of vegetable. For instance I am allergic to Peas, Mushrooms, and String Beans. (As well as 30 pages of other food) If you think you are allergic to it, and it is causing your weight gain, stop eating Broccolli and Cauliflower for 2 weeks, and see if you notice a difference. There are plenty of other vegetables you can eat. BTW Your Breakfast is very healthy. Good For you.

yes indeed . they have tests for this thing . I used to eat lots of broccoli and cauliflower and carrots etc and never could loose weight . I went on nutrisystems and still could not loose any . I stopped eating carrots and lost 17 pounds in less than two months on the diet .
