The Eyjafjallajokull is actually Iceland's 6th biggest glacier (pronounced something like "Eh-ya-fyath-a-yuh-kull") and the volcano is on the boundary between the North-Atlantic and Eurasian plate; on the Mid-Atlantic ridge. The type of boundary that it is on, I think, is a constructive boundary which I gather from the fact it is on a ridge.
Hope I've helped
Oh and I think the other terms for a constructive boundary are American, although not sure, just I've never heard of that phrase and I live in England.
