HELP! 17year old.. pregnant?
Okay.
me and my boyfriend have been dating for ages so it wasnt a one night stand thing.
i finnally lost my virginity to him for his 18th birthday
but thats not the point
i had been taking norimin for 1 week before we had unprotected sex (the day after his bday)
but i didnt start it the day after my period i started it like. the week before my period was due.
anyway. weve had unprotected sex 3 times (like one on each day after his bday)
and i think he "finished" atleast twice
anyway.
my sulution was to stop the pill and see if my period came.
but then apparently it might not be a proper period and that its just my body tricking me
i cant explain it.. but ive heard alot about pregnant women still having their periods
and apparently it takes 14 days- 6 weeks for norimin to work.
so. i am bleeding now. but it doesnt seem like my normal period. its not the same colour and such
now also ive noticed that it hurts for me to urinate and its been like.. 4 days since me and my bf last had sex. and i feel liek going to the toilet alot. but when i do.. like.. hardly anything comes out yet i felt like i was busting!
sorry if i went into detail too much
i just need some answers.
i will be seeing the doctor within the next few days.

You sound like you have a bladder infection or a urinary tract infection you can go to the drugstore and get some pills if that's really what it is, me personally I'd go to the doctor. And stop having unprotected sex I know you're on the pill but you should also be using a condom. If he's 18 he has probably had sex before and last time I checked the pill doesn't protect against STD's.

The fact that you started the norimin a week before your period was due, and not on the first day of your cycle as it's prescribed, does indicate a possibility that you could conceive. You'll generally ovulate mid-cycle, and there are different factors (even stress) that can delay ovulation. So, although the likelihood that you were fertile when you had intercourse is low, the possibility exists.
About your period being a different color, that can just be a result of you just having come off the birth control pill. Irregularity and changes in the appearance or amount of menstrual flow is normal when you first stop taking a contraceptive.
Please be more careful and more responsible if you are not prepared for a pregnancy. You weren't taking your birth control as prescribed, and you should ******ALWAYS***** use two methods of contraception to avoid any surprises.
I guess I'm old-fashioned because I take sex seriously - here's some advice for you to think about: Sex is something you undertake when you and your partner are both mature and responsible enough either to take precautions the right way, OR to accept the possibility of a pregnancy.
I never want to see anyone have to go through anxiety wondering "what if" (been there), or to find out you're pregnant and agonize over whether to keep the pregnancy... which I personally hope you would do... But anyway, it's just not worth going through all that, so please be responsible.
You may have a urinary tract infection. Some women are more predisposed to getting UTIs than others; I never had one in my life until after I had my daughter. But I had the same symptoms, frequency and only being able to void a little bit when you feel like you have to REALLY GO. Some people have fevers and burning/pain on urination, but I didn't have those. Definitely see the doctor with those symptoms, because they'll do a urine pregnancy test and also check for a UTI while you're that.

I have had this same problem before. Its a urinary tract infection (UTI). If i were you I would go to the doctor and tell the about your "potty" symptoms and let them test you for a uti or a bladder infection. All you have to do is pee in a cup. If that comes back negative, then i would wait until when your next period would have been due and if you miss your period, take a home pregnancy test. You say you are on your period now, and sometimes when you take the pill, it can make your period either lighter or sometimes heavier, depending on what you are taking. I have never heard of the pill you are taking.
I want to tell you something from experience. I just had a baby a month ago and i was on the pill so i thought "hey, i have been with my boyfriend for over a year and i havent gotten pregnant yet, so we dont need condoms." We stopped using condoms and I got pregnant on the pill. I love my daughter more than anything in the world, but I am also only 21 years old and my life will never be the same again. It costs so much money and time to raise a child its not even funny and its tough work. Unless you are "trying" for a baby, please wear a condom or something, dont let pleasure get in the way of what is smart. I hope you arent pregnant and i hope everything gets cleared up for you soon. Good luck!

Your symptoms sound like a urinary tract infection to me. The mind can be a powerful thing....if you think you are pregnant you will most likely see signs of pregnancy even if you're not! Wait 1-2 weeks and take a HPT.
