Depends on where you live. In most of the West, it should not be an issue (it was in the past). In the middle east, I do not advice you to share that information with strangers for the sake of your safety.

nothings wrong of being a jew i have a lot of friends that are jews its just lots of people make front of them then other people start coping there friends and it spreads jews are people just like every one they are like other people that have the same insides

Some people have had bad experiences with Jews and they may be showing their displeasure.

There is a lot of antisemitism around. It is the only nationality it is alright to hate. Shalom.
