How can I make a Powerpoint presentation into a good qualitiy video?

Question

I have slides with text and pictures but everything I've tried so far makes the text and drawings fuzzy when changing them to video format like .avi file.  Any suggestions on how to do it and make it look good too?

What did you use in converting your presentation to video of AVI? Maybe you can try a more powerful tool to do the conversion.
