Is Arsenal's trophy drought really that big of a deal?
Barcelona also endured a 6 year trophy drought recently.
Barca won the La Liga title for the 1998-1999 season and then didn't win anything until 2005.
During that six year trophy-less run they were developing their own young talents (aka Xavi, Iniesta, etc.). Now look at them!
Arsenal has been doing the same thing. I'm not saying we'll be winning 6 trophies next season, but i just found it interesting that nobody seems to mention this little bit of information.

I think all the major teams go through a similar part in their history. Its hard to go by as a fan, but know that Arsenal is a strong team and will win something soon enough:)

Obviously i'd like us to win trophies but i'm not upset that we're not. I understand that we can't really compete financially with some clubs and because money has been having such a massive impact on football, we haven't been able to buy the best players around. I'm 100% confident that in 2-3 years time, we'll be winning the big trophies because we'll have the money. We're doing well with what we have and Wenger is doing the best he can with what he's got.

Yea, cause they call themselves part of the big 4. Don't they?
Big 4:
Chelsea
Manchester United
Liverpool
Arsenal
So yea, it's a big deal.
You can't say (Arsenal fans) "we the best club in the World" if you have to trophy to show for it.
Barcelona did do some rebuilding when Madrid was killing them.....Now Madrid is rebuilding too.

Yes it is and they dont have potential like xavi and iniesta did in any of their current youngsters. Also the ones that he does nurture and become decent normally leave for another club or will now start too. That being said I feel Arsenal have been unlucky and especially this season, but the problem still remains that their defence is not good enough and they dont have enough top quality experienced players like RVP and Fabregas.

Barcelona has become among the first tourist location of Spain because it understands just how to please the major bulk : with a history among the oldest in Europe, an area that never rests and an inland full of elegance, memorable beautiful beaches in La Costa Brava and you can see all this in the event that you take a peek with hotelbye first. The range of imaginative items, the Romanesque churches and the great titles in contemporary artwork and structure like: Dali, Gaudi, Miro and Picasso give Barcelona a spot in the listing of towns you have to see.

It has been mentioned and specially by me. Arsenal just need some luck and it'll turn around for them ASAP...

I see what you mean but it depends if Arsenal can keep hold of their players, Barca kept Xavi, Puyol, got Pique back, kept Messi, kept Iniesta.... plus have financial muscle to fill the gaps, Eto'o, now Ibrah, Henry, Milito.....
Can the same be said for Arsenal? Henry left, Adebayor left....is Fabregas going to leave? Plus they don't have the financial aspect to fill the gaps.....
Barca kept hold of their youth, can Arsenal?

i support man utd, but i really do admire arsenal and their style of play. sadly, i dont think chamakh will win u guys the league, but hopefully the carling or fa cup. all arsenal needs is a world class goalie and central defender imo.
