Yes. You have touched on a subject which those in darkness will never admit. Remember, the Pharisees and Scribes followed the laws of Moses and Jesus told them that Moses own words will condemn them who know not the true meaning of the words and laws of Moses.

So has the same happend today after thousands of years, man has made Jesus a God and yet, they truly know not the true meaning of his words which came from the true Father in the highest heaven. The words of Jesus shall condemn those who follow mens interpretation of them, just as the Pharisees and Scribes followed the interpreted words of Moses.

God is the only one who teaches those who ask and praise him and not follow men and their vain teachings.

So will it come to pass the fullfilling of this scripture from the New Testament, as spoken by Jesus;

Satan again has led many astray from ever entering the heavenly kingdom of God. Yet, none will believe such a thing has happened just as the Pharisees and Scribes didn't believe the truth Jesus spoke to them from the Father.

No, the question is has Christianity (the religion) been hijacked by demons? the answer is that most religions get taken for a ride on the demon express from time to time. Look at Christians they often call out for blood even when their founder was called the "Prince of Peace"

Islam is a word that means "Peace" yet the followers have been interested in anything but peace. The Roman Gods were great moral and ethical teachers yet Emperors used them as symbols to oppress their own people and stay at almost constant war. So with the Greeks, Egyptians, Indians.

Is it possible? It's more like a hobby for demons, well, high order powerful demons. So it's like polo, played by the rich and powerful. Low order demons have to satisfy themselves with possessing some teen-aged girl or working for the tax man. And that's why they call it hell.

The title of this question may have some merit. Religions are ultimately grown and spread by people who want control over large masses of people. Nothing controls large masses of naive people like the threat of a Hell.

Most of what is popular with society en mass is largely junk

i.e. religion, fast food, pro-war presidents, etc.

The masses will always be tricked into doing something stupid. But I'm sure you think that your God is better, and only you know which is the right one.
