how can I adjust my monitor?
I was using a thin screen, but it quit working, so I hooked back up my older monitor. It is all flickery, didn't used to be, is there a setting I can adjust, or is it just from not being used for a month?
It's hurting my eyes.
no there is no "auta adjust"
When I go to the control panel, thre are things like brighness, contrast, color, degauss, and geometry. none of the options under any of these seems to have anything to do with the problem.
neither was correct, it turned out to be the refresh rate...

there is a button which is called Auto Adjust so just find it and click
probably you can see the monitor's buttons easily
u can access Monitor's settings via those buttons
Edit:
can you see the buttons placed on the Monitor.??
then click one of them and get the Main menu and click the rest of buttons and go to up and down and try to find the Auto Adjust or similar option now click on the suitable button that's all
or right click on the desktop ->properties->Display->and set the native resolution sometimes it may work if not try to do that via the Monitor settings
